Everything is great. Comfortable and like home. Trees and birds are nice to see as a birdwatcher.

I have been at MediLodge of Leelanau for 10 weeks. All of the staff have blown me away. They are all so confident, caring and friendly. Whoever picks the staff does a great job! The therapy team was great, caring and very helpful. Everyone was motivational, gave me confidence, and was very patient with me.

I had a very good stay at MediLodge of Leelanau. Everyone was so nice and treated me very well. I came here to do some therapy to get better and stronger, and the therapy team did an excellent job helping me achieve my goal so I can go back home. If you are looking for a place that offers reliability, comfort, security, and wonderful service for you or a loved one, this would be the number 1 choice in the Traverse City area. I received quality care, quality food in a beautiful environment. This place meant all my needs from medical care, to emotional and social in just the short time I was here for rehab. When I am no longer to stay at home, I know where I will spend my day when I need 24 hour assistance. The opportunity to interact with staff and residents was a great experience. The Activities Department provided an array of activities that really helps the residents get up and going and gets them involved with their environment.  This helped me in my rehab process to feel included and feel needed. The therapy department were my biggest cheerleaders with the upmost professionalism. Watching the different ways that they engaged residents and keep them moving and helping them reach their goals was unbelievable. I was able to accomplish my goals set forth by my therapy team to be able to finally go home.

We were so fortunate to have Mom at Medilodge of Leelanau and under such great care. Mom loved the staff and environment. She touched so many lives, leaving a lasting memory. She was a ray of sunshine.

It was a significant operation which included 4 surgeries in a 1 week period which resulted in a below the knee amputation. I was transferred to Medilodge of Leelanau based on local advice. The admission team was very through, educational and sensitive to my mental condition and developing needs. They explained all the amenities of the facility and the activities to expect during my rehabilitation. Staff from each discipline was very through and very interested in my case to better support me and my recovery and adapted to my personal needs on a 24 hour basis. Pain management was optimized daily, and I became pain free and sleeping through the night very quickly. During my occupational and physical therapy I was able to maintain a flexible scheduled so that I could manage personal work related activities. After a 2 week period from admission I will be discharged with confidence and the skill-sets to be self-sufficient and have maximum mobility. I felt totally comfortable with leaving personal possessions in my room based on my relationships I established initially. I would highly recommend Medilodge of Leelanau to anyone needing skilled nursing care.

MediLodge of Leelanau is bright, roomy, and welcoming. MediLodge expects its new residents to feel overwhelmed, and is ready to answer any questions or concerns efficiently. I found a sense of warmth and familiarity for residents deliberately cultivated. An attentive, conscientious staff greets everyone pleasantly, and one's needs are attended as promptly as possible. My medical issues have been addressed promptly, such as sending a small sample of my blood to the lab to make sure its consistency is on target. I have a "fussy" appetite, but I find the meals are attractively presented and flavorful. No one is eager to engage in rehabilitative therapy, but residing at Medilodge of Leelanau makes the experience a home-like pleasure.

I so appreciate MediLodge of Leelanau for their care for me while I was here for rehab after surgery. The entire staff was so kind and helpful with anything that I needed. The food was very tasteful and delivered to my room. The therapists were very encouraging and helped me recover and get back some of my strength.
